Date: Wednesday, September 20, 2017 | Time: 8 am PDT | 11 am EDT
Over the years, risk appetite has remained the core instrument for driving business performance and is a fundamental part of any successful and forward looking risk management program. Rapid advancement in globalization, diversifications in product lines, disruptive business models, technology advancements and new market expansions have led to an increased number of risk vectors and hence a larger number of tradeoffs in terms of allocation of organizational resources. This increases the need for understanding and setting risk appetites to govern and expedite decision making.
Implementing a risk mitigation roadmap is often challenging without understanding the organization’s risk appetite. Join this webinar as we demystify risk appetite and highlight its importance, and share real world examples of its implementation in a successful risk management program.
This webinar will also highlight:
- The significance of risk appetite in an ERM program
- Defining corporate level risk appetite across risk categories and organizational hierarchy
- Aligning risk appetite to risk measurement processes
- Leveraging technology to implement risk appetite and subsequent processes
