Sune Skadegaard Thorsen - Founder and CEO, GLOBAL CSR

Mr. Thorsen founded and heads the consultancy GLOBAL CSR, Copenhagen. In 2011 he also co-founded learnCSR.com providing adaptive and dynamic e-learning and 'Enterprise of Tomorrow' (Morgendagens Virksomheder) for SMEs.

With a background in international corporate law, Mr. Thorsen specialized in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) since 1996. He was expert advisor to Mary Robinson's Business Leaders Initiative on Human Rights since inception (2003 - 2009). He continues as expert advisor to the Global Business Initiative on Human Rights.

His honorary positions include Chair of the Danish Institute for Human Rights, the International Commission of Jurists, Danish Section, and the Danish Peace Foundation in addition to European Advisor to the Institute for Business and Human Rights, London, and Director in the Danish Centre for International Studies and Human Rights and member of a range of CSR initiatives and advisory boards.
