On July 26, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted the new rules, which will require public companies to level-up their cyber risk management and incident reporting processes. The rules, coming into force by December 2023, are aimed at standardizing the process of making disclosures about cybersecurity risk management procedures and practices by public-listed organizations.
