Financial Institutions and the FinTech partnerships

Allan Cuttle is a Managing Principal within Capco’s RISC Services division leading the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Solutions Practice. Allan and his team assist Financial Institutions in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing GRC technology platforms across their enterprise. Allan has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry specializing in enterprise/operational risk management, GRC solutions, BSA/AML compliance, and SOX compliance. Allan is regarded as a trusted advisor to his clients, helping them think through their GRC strategy, solution options, implementation and support approaches with an emphasis on the maturity of their risk and compliance programs. He offers perspectives as to their “GRC Journey” to ensure success within all three lines of defense. Allan works with organizations to maximize output from these platforms enabling more informed strategic decision making at all levels of management.

Leo Gurevich serves as Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Risk Officer at Five Star Bank. Leo joined Five Star Bank in 2018 and is responsible for leading the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management Program and also has oversight responsibility for Third-Party Risk Management and Operational Risk. In his role, Leo has responsibility for risk-appetite setting and strategy and practices over the effective identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of various risk factors, including but not limited to strategic, operational, credit, compliance and legal risks.

Prior to joining Five Star, Leo held various progressive roles at Morgan Stanley from 2005-2018, most recently as Americas Head, Legal Entity Governance. Leo’s experience at Morgan Stanley also has included Internal Audit, Sarbanes Oxley, Product Control, Finance Risk, operational risk and corporate governance.

Chris Tremont serves as Chief Digital Officer for Grasshopper Bank. In this role, Chris leads the digital strategy for the Bank, running its Small Business (SMB) and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) divisions, along with overseeing Product, Marketing, and Client Services. Before Grasshopper, Chris was the Executive Vice President of Virtual Banking for Radius Bank, helping to create and manage its award-winning digital bank. He led the Direct to Consumer (DTC), SMB, and BaaS business lines, achieving measurable success in the growth of deposits while also overseeing various support areas.

Chris has helped lead successful equity investments in fintech companies while at Radius and Patriot Financial and is a frequent speaker and writer in fintech and digital banking. Before Radius, Chris worked at KeyBank in various roles within consumer finance. He graduated from Miami University and lives in Charlotte, NC, with his family.
