Professor Hernan Huwyler is a governance, risk and compliance specialist for multinational companies. He works in developing internal controls to address business risks and legal requirements in European and American corporations and is currently working for ISS World in Copenhagen to develop its center of risk management excellence. He previously worked for Deloitte in Copenhagen to develop the practice in risk advisory and served as Risk Management and Internal Control Director for Veolia, leading governance practices in Iberia and Latin America. He also previously worked for ExxonMobil, Baker Hughes and Tenaris. He has an MBA and CPA, as well as, co-chairs the non-financial assurance commission at The Institute of Internal Auditors. Hernan frequently lectures on compliance, risk management, data privacy, GDPR and auditing at top universities and business schools

Mike Hyler is Vice President, Head of Product Management for Metricstream’s Risk Product line.
Mike brings extensive capital markets and product experience, resulting from the broad array of senior roles he has held within the financial industry. Mike started his career as a senior auditor at Price Waterhouse with a focus on banking clients, which ignited his interest in financial markets. This propelled him to senior positions in product control and risk management as well as leadership positions in both middle and front office capacities in the financial services industry. More recently, Mike was a program manager leading key risk management initiatives at Citi. Prior to Citi, he served as a market specialist at Bloomberg, where he provided subject matter expertise and heavily influenced product development. Prior to Bloomberg, Mike held leadership positions in trading and risk management at Bear Stearns and UBS. His wealth of experience has afforded hands-on knowledge across all areas of financial services. In his current role Mike is putting this knowledge to work in helping MetricStream continue to innovate to build out and promote its risk management product offerings. Mike is based out of New York City, enjoys biking, sailing, and playing tennis, though he is still trying to find his kick serve.
