Judith Akinosho is the Global Head of Compliance at S&P Global Platts (“Platts”). She is responsible for ensuring Platts’ compliance program is fit for purpose and highly effective through its design, monitoring and enforcement.
Judith has been involved in enhancing existing and introducing new compliance programs and has deep experience managing compliance issues facing a complex global business. She is known for always positioning Compliance as a respected and credible partner to the Business – while staying close to the stakeholders and taking a firm, pragmatic approach.
Prior to her current role, Judith held senior compliance positions at various energy market leaders including GE Oil & Gas (BHGE: NYSE), Wood Group PLC (WG: LSE), and Superior Energy Services (SPN: NYSE). She trained as a solicitor and started her career in private legal practice. She holds an LLM in Information Technology law from the RGU, Aberdeen Business School.
